The New Saints will take on Bangor City tomorrow in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League.
The Saints are currently top of the WPL and will be hoping for three more points tomorrow.
Bangor were founded in 1876 and are managed by Nev Powell.
Nicknamed The Citizens, the club play their games at The Book People Stadium and finished last season in third place.
Bangor City and are in fantastic form at the moment, having won four and drawn two of their last six matches. The last time Bangor lost at home was on the 9th of November, going down 1-0 to Carmarthen.
During the last encounter between the two sides, The Saints won by two goals to nil, thanks to goals from Mike Wilde and Aeron Edwards.
The last time that The Saints visited Bangor, Craig Harrison’s side ran out four one winners, after goals from Phil Baker, Aeron Edwards and a brilliant brace from Alex Darlington, rounded off an excellent team performance on the final day of the 2012/2013 Welsh Premier League season.
Both Steve Evans and Scott Ruscoe are still out of action but Harrison has the rest of the squad to pick from and warned that it will be a tough game for his champions, ‘It will be tough game tomorrow, it always is against Bangor. They have had a bit of a transitional period but they have fantastic support and a manager who has a lot of experience. Nev is a good manager, who has won a lot and he has a good set of young lads in his squad. It is going to be a very difficult game for us and the two clubs have had a strong rivalry for a number of years now. We will have to go there and be at our best to win the match.’
The match will kick off at 14:30pm.
