The New Saints beat Guilsfield three nil thanks to goals from Ryan Fraughan, Greg Draper and Sam Finley.
Fraughan opened the scoring in the 19th minute at a very wet Park Hall stadium, after poking in from close range.
Mike Wilde had a couple of chances to double the lead in the first half but The Saints went into the break leading by one goal to nil.
Craig Harrison made a number of changes at the beginning of the second half and soon after it was two nil. Jamie Mullan’s excellent cross was met by Draper, who made no mistake from close range to double the advantage.
Sam Finley made it three nil with a powerful strike from close range, after Mullan had once again produced a wonderful cross into the box.
Connell Rawlinson nearly added a fourth goal but headed just wide as The Saints controlled the match and coasted to a three nil victory.
