Oswestry Choral Society

Following the success of their 125 Anniversary concerts, which included the immensely popular Viennese evening, Oswestry Choral
Society is putting the final touches to their next concert BROADWAY STAGE AND SCREEN. Fans of Musical Theatre are in for a treat as this show contains selections and medleys from smash hit musicals, iconic songs from the stage and even music from the silver screen.
Joining this versatile choir conducted and directed by Dawn Jaffray, is the talented local singer Matthew Tong, who has a fervent following in Oswestry. Singing songs from “Oklahoma” , “South Pacific”, “Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Miserables” he will also entertain with songs from the swing era.
Come along to the Venue on the 7th of June and Join in this popular fun journey through the world of musicals. Do not miss this show packed with timeless classics, performed for one evening only.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £3 for children and are available from The Venue, Box Office at Rowanthorn Chapel Court, OCS members and at the door.
Refreshments are available from the bar before, during and after the show. Doors are open at 6:45pm, performance starts at 7.30pm.
