First game played against Plymouth development squad, winning 5-0, James Gregory Cork scoring a hattrick, his first goal a fantastic finish from the right hand side finding the top let corner, Darren Evans scored a brace.
Second game we lost against a very good Port Vale 5-1, despite taking the lead through Darren Evans and Tom Jones having a fantastic game in goal.

In the Third game TNS lost against Walsall 6-4, showing good character to come back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2, few individual errors proving costly late on.

In the Forth game we drew 5-5 with Wolves in a great display of attacking football by both sides, Darren Evans scoring a hattrick, the pick of the goals a chipped shot from the half way line.
In the Forth place place off on the final day we faced North West Elite academy, winning 2-0, goals from Darren Evans and Harry Bower.

It was a good test for the boys, facing some bigger well established academies. Started first game very well but we did struggle against Port Vale, they played at a level we need to aspire to reach. Performances improved after that game, we were very unlucky against Walsall, showed great spirit to fight back. Wolves was a great display of attacking football, a great game to watch but we needed to be tighter at the back. We finished the week of on a high winning our play off and trophy against Elite Development in a hard thought victory. Another really good work out for the lads, we’ve seen the level we need to hit and I believe with hard work then we can reach it, now ready for the new season to begin.
