TNS at Xmas

So far this Christmas, The New Saints FC have been active in the Community as well as winning on the pitch.

A five one victory at the GenQuip Stadium on Friday night ensured that The Saints continued their unbeaten campaign as Craig Harrison’s side march on in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League.

The Saints have also been busy off the pitch attending the Children’s ward at their local hospital and helping turn the Xmas lights on in Oswestry Town centre.

The Saints helped switch the lights on at a packed Bailey Head in Oswestry along with world record holder, Amy Hughes.

The table topping Saints also visited the Alice ward at the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry and handed out presents to the young children.

TNS manager, Craig Harrison has so far guided The New Saints to three Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League titles as well as two FAW Welsh Cups during his three years at the Oswestry based club and added, ‘It is great to be involved with the community and it is very important to us. It is imperative that we make sure we get involved with the local community and get involved with different schemes and initiatives. On the pitch we have been doing really well again this year and I am really happy with the way that we have been playing.’
