Parc MBi Maesdu to Host theWord Cup Final

MBi Llandudno to Host theWord Cup Final.

Word Cup holders The New Saints and Wildcards Denbigh Town will contest the 2015/16 Word Cup Final at Parc MBi Maesdu, Llandudno in front of the S4C live cameras at 5.15pm on Saturday the 23rd of January 2016.

The Saints will be hoping to secure back to back Cup triumphs after beating Bala Town 3-0 in the Final last season before going on to complete a domestic treble.

Craig Harrison’s Saints have been in dominant form again this season and thrashed Carmarthen Town at Park Hall Stadium to book their place in the Final.

The match will be refereed by Lee Evans who will be assisted by Ian Bird, Johnathon Bryant and Ryan Stewart.

The event will be attended by Wales National Team Manager, Chris Coleman who is, once again, looking forwards to the occasion:

‘Denbigh deserve great credit for reaching the final – having beaten three Welsh Premier League teams on the way – and I’m sure that they’ll do their best to claim a fourth WPL scalp. It’s obviously going to be a difficult task but it should be a very enjoyable day’.

MBi Llandudno’s General Manager Dorothy Langley is looking forward to hosting the final:

‘We’re very happy that that theWord Cup Final is coming to Llandudno. We’ve had great support from the people of the town this season and I’m sure that they’ll come out in force for the final. We wish The New Saints and Denbigh Town the best of luck and we look forward to welcoming their supporters on the big day. We also look forward to welcoming Chris Coleman back to the club as he officially opened our 3G facility last year’.
