The first game was between the Word Cup finalists, as our young Saints took on Denbigh Town. Whilst the game started off at a frantic pace, TNS started to get more into the game and were creating a lot of good chances. Both teams played some fantastic football and it was a pleasure to see.
The second game TNS faced hosts Llandudno Town. TNS proved too strong for their opposition on this occasion and played really well, numerous players really standing out.
After the game, we spoke to Coach Jason Brindley who said:
“Really pleased with the performances of all the U8s this morning. They are starting to play more as a team and it’s great to see. Credit to coach Gary Evans who was unable to make it today but has been working hard with the players and it’s starting to pay off. They are an exciting age group and are getting more consistency with their play. They now seem to have more of a balance to the team. It was especially good to see young Aiden play up a year and really hold his own.”
