Car Parking

Parking for players, match officials and VIP guests and general supporters will be in the main car park. All Rondo Media/TV crew to park in the car park behind the goal (Burma Road End).

All visiting supporters’ buses (x2) travelling from Scotland will be dropped off by the roadside adjacent to the car park and the bus will need to park by the Rugby club. (Adjacent to the football ground)

Spectators are directed to the ground with signage on the A483 and off Whittington Road and Burma Road.

Parking is available for general match day supporters at Oswestry Showground, the postcode of the parking area is SY11 4AB.

If you have purchased hospitality tickets there is limited parking available at the ground. It will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, once full the primary car park above will be used.

General spectator entrances are through the fixed turnstiles, of which there are two in total. These are located at the Burma Road End of the Ground – consequently, crowd segregation is not required

Match-day stewards are available to assist with the safe arrival of spectators at the ground.

All supporters prior to entering the stadium will be searched in accordance with the club’s ground regulations. Any alcohol or any other items referred to in the ground regulations will be taken away. No spectator will be allowed admission into the stadium if they appear to be excessively under the influence of alcohol.

 

Building Access

Supporters are able to access the supporters’ bar from 4.00 p.m. – inside The Venue through the first set of doors, where we have a full range of beers wines and spirits available. We also have a bottle bar away from the main bar. We will have a match-day food menu available in the supporters’ bar. There will be a ticket collection point also within. Entrance to the match will be via the turnstiles – stewards are in place to show you to the turnstiles.

For supporters who have purchased hospitality tickets these are available to pick up from 4.00 p.m. within the hospitality area inside The Venue, through the second set of doors which are automatic. The hospitality area offers a fully-stocked bar and we will also have a second bottle bar within this room. You will also receive a gold wristband which must be worn for the duration of your stay as you will not be allowed access to the hospitality area without it. Entrance to the game will be via the balcony doors.

 

Ticketing and Admissions

Admission is by ticket only.

If there are tickets remaining on matchday they will be able to be purchased from within the supporters bar.

Ticket prices are – Adults £10, concessions £5 (OAPs & Children under 16).

An Academy player and an adult are allowed access FOC on production of their season ticket card (STRICTLY NO ADMITTANCE without season ticket card).

Season ticket holders will also be allowed access on production of their season ticket card.

Turnstiles will open at 18:30hrs

 

Supporter Segregation

There is NO supporter segregation. All GENERAL supporters will gain access via the turnstile entrance on the Burma Road end of the ground and from inside The Venue and shall either seat in the stands or are able to stand pitch side

 

VIP and Guests

VIPs, guests and visiting officials will be located on the balcony area and will be able to access the hospitality room inside The venue. There will be approximately 220 people in hospitality.

 

Television

The game is being televised live on S4C’s Sgorio. A separate Risk Assessment has been circulated.

 

Refreshment Facilities

The club provides clean and easily accessible catering facilities in accordance with the level of demand anticipated. Refreshment facilities are made available to cater for both sets of supporters and are located in the snack bar area pitch side and inside The Venue (supporters’ bar)

 

Post-match food

Post-match food for players and match officials will be available inside The Venue. This will be located in the hospitality area.

It is the intention to allow home and away supporters to purchase alcohol pre and post-match.

 

Areas will be clearly and visibly marked internally and externally. Any ‘risk’ supporters will not be allowed access into this area. It will be stewarded by SIA trained Stewards / Security staff.

All general supporters in this area will gain access to the ground via the main turnstile entrance. Invited guests with passes only will be allowed access onto the balcony direct from this area.

Food and drink is available for spectators at pitch level before, during and after the game as well as inside The Venue in the supporters bar.

 

Sale of alcohol

Food and drink is available for spectators before the game in the supporters’ bar and and in the hospitality room (VIP guests only) inside The Venue. Alcohol will not be served 15 minutes before kick-off and 15 minutes after the game or during the game in this area. The room will be stewarded to monitor access.

All general supporters will be able to gain access to the stadium via the main turnstile entrance. Invited guests with hospitality passes only will be allowed access onto the balcony direct from this area.

 

Sanitary Facilities

Sufficient facilities are available in The Venue as well as portable toilets pitch side.
