This coming Sunday (June 10, 2018), there is a football programme and memorabilia fayre being held in Oswestry. The venue is the Oswestry railway station building. Long gone are the days when network trains ran alongside it, nevertheless it is still in use and is an ideal setting for events of this nature.
Billed as the Football Special, the fayre features exhibits, memorabilia dealers and a stickers swap shop. There is also a cafe on hand for refreshments, and alongside the history of the beautiful game you can also step back in time with a train ride, courtesy of Cambrian Heritage Railway.
As well as The New Saints Football Club, AFC Telford United, FC Oswestry Town, Shrewsbury Town and AFC Wrexham will also be there at the fayre.
The event runs from 11.00 a.m. until 3.00 p.m. and admission is free. The address is The Old Station Building, Oswald Road, Oswestry SY11 1RE.
We look forward to seeing you there and don’t forget to come and say hello. The TNS stand will be manned by Graeme Kirkham and Stewart Bloor.
