It’s Off To Prestatyn In The Nathaniel MG Cup

The New Saints will begin their defence of the Nathaniel MG Cup with a trip to Prestatyn Town, this evening’s draw has revealed.

Scott Ruscoe’s side have won the trophy in each of the last four seasons, defeating Cardiff Metropolitan University in the final last year thanks to Jamie Mullan’s 63rd minute goal, but they must first overcome the hurdle of The Seasiders, should they wish to repeat the feat once again.

Prestatyn currently sit in 12th place in the Huws Gray Alliance with four points from four matches, and reached the second round of the Nathaniel MG Cup thanks to a 96th minute stoppage time winner against Denbigh Town in round one.

The match at Bastion Gardens will take place on Tuesday October 2nd and will kick-off at 7.45pm.
