Back to winning ways on Tuesday evening with a convincing 6-0 victory against Aberystwyth Town, The New Saints are on the road tomorrow (Friday, September 14 2018) as we travel to Llanelli.
Back in the top flight of Welsh football after an absence of five years, The Reds currently find themselves in the bottom two.
The opening game of their return saw a 7-0 reversal at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads, who unsurprisingly became the early leaders in the new JD Welsh Premier League season, courtesy of goal difference.
Their next fixture though for Llanelli, on the road at The Rock, saw them beat Cefn Druids 3-2. Since then however, with just one point in three games they have slipped to eleventh place.
On the other hand, The New Saints are on an excellent run of domestic form, having not conceded in three games, while scoring fifteen in the process.
Currently at the top of the table with a three-point lead, Scott Ruscoe’s side have a goal difference of plus 18, which is twice that of all the other clubs with a plus figure combined (9).
The game at Stebonheath Park kicks off at 7.45 p.m. There is transport for supporters that want to make the journey to south Wales. Contact graeme.kirkham.tnsfc.co.uk for more information.
The officials are: Gavin Townsend (referee), Ian Bird and Ashley Davies (assistants), Dave Morgan (4th official) and Rodger Gifford (observer).
TNS Radio will be bringing commentary from the game. The link is here on the home page of our website and we go live just before kick-off.
