Get Your Boots On And Get Involved With TNS FC Foundation’s CICS Programme

It’s been almost six months now since The New Saints Foundation launched their CICS Cymru programme, in association with the FA Wales.

The scheme is a nationwide initiative, aiming to get more girls involved in football, and sessions run every week in both Welshpool and Llanfyllin.

The sessions have been receiving great levels of participation, and have helped The Foundation develop positive relationships with both Welshpool Youth Club and Welshpool Ladies Football Club.

The team are now working in a similar way with Llanfyllin FC, providing support to help grow their junior teams.

We went along to the CICS sessions in Welshpool last week and spoke to TNS FC Foundation’s Wayne Greenshields, who explains more about the project and provides an update as to its success in the video below.

If you would like more information about the CICS programme in either Welshpool or Llanfyllin, you can email both: Naomi.stocker@tnsfc.co.uk or danny.bell@tnsfc.co.uk.
