Park Hall played host to a Show Racism the Red Card workshop today, as students from both Brynteg County and Rhosymedre Primary Schools took part in the educational visit.
The day began with workshop, delivered by education worker Eryl Jones, offering education on the topic of racism, with a range of interactive activities and discussions.

Before visiting the home of the JD Welsh Premier League champions, pupils had been busy preparing questions for a mock press conference later in the day.
They were tasked with creating a name for a newspaper and it was their job to research racism in sport and society.
To kick off the afternoon session, pupils watched the Show Racism the Red Card educational film, which gave them one final opportunity to obtain further knowledge on the topic, before the ‘press conference.’
TNS’ manager Scott Ruscoe and assistant manager Steve Evans, as well as first-team players Chris Seargeant and Ryan Brobbel faced questions from the students.
You can hear part of their answers in the embedded tweet below.

Every pupil who attended today’s workshop received a free ticket to this Saturday’s top of the table clash against Connah’s Quay Nomads and we hope that they enjoyed their visit to Park Hall.
