Welcoming Norwegian GroundHoppers To Park Hall

This coming Friday (November 9, 2018), we welcome a group of 28 Norwegian groundhoppers to Park Hall, as The New Saints FC takes on Caernarfon Town FC in the JD Welsh Premier League.

The group is led by Knut Sollihaug and Jan Morten Totland and some of them have been to Park Hall previously, as Knut explains:

“In Norway there is huge interest in British football and it started when Norwegian television began to broadcast live games in 1969.”

“Our first tour was in 1997 and for most of the visits we have stayed in Liverpool, although we have also stayed in Leeds and Wigan.”

“We visited Park Hall in 2009 for the match against Rhyl and we were looked after very well. We are looking forward to visiting again!”

One of the group members who will be at the game this week is Arne Lien. He is a very keen salmon angler and that’s him in the lead image.

We are looking forward to hosting everyone and we will be bringing you an update of their visit in due course. If you see them at Park Hall on Friday, then don’t forget to say hello.

The New Saints FC welcomes groundhoppers, and whether individuals or groups of any size, then get in touch with us and we will do our best to make your visit a special one indeed. Contact: stewart.bloor@tnsfc.co.uk
