With no game over the weekend itself, it’s Monday action next for The New Saints, as the reigning JD Welsh Premier League (JD WPL) champions travel to The Oval to take on Caernarfon Town.
With the Canaries enjoying a successful return to top flight domestic football this season, they currently find themselves in fifth place. Having secured thirty seven points so far, they are thirteen adrift of The New Saints in second, although they have played one game more.
A goal difference of plus 3 sees Caernarfon Town behind six other sides in the league, with a considerable gap between them and TNS FC, who have a very impressive plus 56.
The goal difference figures are arrived at courtesy of The New Saints scoring 70 and conceding just 14, while the Canaries have found the net on 38 occasions but have been breached at the other end 35 times.
As far as current form is concerned, having played six JD WPL games so far in 2019, Sean Eardley’s side has the following run of results, with the team desperate to avoid making it three defeats on the bounce.

By contrast, Scott Ruscoe sees his team unbeaten in all competitions, with just the blemish of a draw against Barry Town United last weekend to spoil the perfect party.
