With the new season, courtesy of the UEFA Champions League, just over one week away, The New Saints FC is extremely pleased to announce that ex-Swansea City Under-23s defender, Keston Davies, has put pen-to-paper and signed a contract with the champions of Wales.
A Swans’ fan, 22-year-old Keston not only watched his heroes as a young boy but then went on to sign for the Academy at the age of 8. A move to London – and a spell with Fulham FC’s Academy – saw the much-rated centre-half move back to the Liberty Stadium.
His Swansea City career included playing for the Under-23s at the age of 15 and captaining the Under-19s to two FAW Youth Cups. In addition, he was an integral part of the former’s 2016/2017 double-winning season, where he featured in 39 games.
He also had loan spells at both Notts County and Yeovil Town. On the national stage, Keston has played for the Wales Under-21s, which as well as the other achievements mentioned, we chat with him about in the interview that you can watch below.
Welcome to Park Hall, Keston, from everyone at The New Saints FC!
