When we (media) travel with the team on an overnight stay ahead of a game, we always use the time as profitably as possible. That means, along with other things, doing interviews, which with a different setting and background makes things more interesting.
While staying over at the Mercure Hotel in Swansea last week, ahead of the Carmarthen Town game, we chatted with Scott Ruscoe. After eighteen months of hard work work and commitment, he had just completed his Pro Licence Course, so it was a great opportunity to catch up.
Scott came to our (I always share with Sam Wood) room and away we went. There was no script for the interview, we just went with the flow.
I personally think it’s a fantastic interview (not me, Scott!) which gives tremendous insight into not only what our manager has been up to in the last year-and-a-half but also is an inspiration for all up-and-coming managers and coaches.
