Match Preview, As The New Saints Travel To The Hollingsworth Group Stadium

With no game last weekend, it’s back to JD Cymru Premier action for The New Saints this coming Saturday (November 30, 2019), as we travel to Flintshire to take on Airbus UK Broughton. The MD16 game is a 10th v 3rd encounter, with plenty at stake for both sides.

With a game in hand – which will be played on Tuesday, December 3 – The New Saints is potentially in second place, just one point off the leaders, Connah’s Quay Nomads. On the other hand, The Wingmakers sit perilously just above the relegation places, one point ahead of Penybont FC and three in front of Carmarthen Town, although both rivals have played one less.

TNS has picked up ten points from the last four games, courtesy of three wins and a draw, while Airbus have been beaten on all of their four previous outings. Their most recent match saw them lose 1-0 at Maes Tegid, with the previous defeat also by one goal, as they lost 2-1 at home to Penybont FC.

The New Saints will be in the familiar green and white kit with the goalkeeper in red.

The officials for the game are as follows: Gavin Townsend (referee), Ian Bird and Bryn Jones (assistant referees) and Tom Owen (fourth official).

Kick-off is 2.30 p.m. and if you’re not at the game in person, you can follow the action via TNS Radio. In addition, there will be regular updates on our Twitter account.
