Northern Ireland Under-21 international, Ryan Brobbel, has made the final cut for the JD Cymru Premier Player Of The Month Shortlist for November 2019.
Although there were just three games for The New Saints during the month – all in the league – a 1-1 draw at Connah’s Quay Nomads was followed by a home victory against Aberystwyth Town (2-0) and another on the road at Airbus UK Broughton (12-0).
In the game at the Deeside Stadium, a tremendous burst down the left saw Brobbel find Dean Ebbe in the box, as the striker bundled the ball home to give The New Saints the lead.
The all-important second goal against the Seasiders came just before the break, as Brobbel rounded the ‘keeper to give the reigning JD Cymru Premier champions a comfortable lead, one that proved to be the final score.
In the 12-0 win at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, it was just the one from the in-form number eight. This time in the 26th minute, Brobbel beat players in the box, before putting the ball beyond the reach of Dave Roberts and into the corner of the net.
The other contenders for the November POTM award are Connah’s Quay Nomads’ Lewis Brass, James Davies from Cefn Druids and Bala Town’s Louis Robles.
