In Conversation With Tony Cunningham, The Secretary Of Ramsbottom United – Rev’s Ramblings

While at Ramsbottom United for the game with Tadcaster Albion at the weekend, I met the club’s secretary, Tony Cunningham, for the first time. Although we have had numerous email exchanges over several months courtesy of Josh Hmami joining the Rams on loan, it was our initial meeting.

I instantly liked Tony, he’s very friendly and amiable. Whether we represent a football club or any other organisation, the way that we come over to people is very important. We are all ambassadors for something.

As we chatted, I was really impressed with Tony’s knowledge of Welsh football, so, always looking to make the most of every media opportunity that I spot, I asked him if he was up for an interview.

You can see from the video below that his response was in the affirmative. As well as our domestic game here in Wales, we also talked about his own journey with Ramsbottom, and of course, the reason why I was there, Josh Hmami.
