Despite no face-to-face sessions taking place for the past couple of months now, The New Saints FC Academy has continued to create innovative ways for players to continue their footballing development.
Since training sessions were suspended on March 20th, Academy youngsters have taken part in a six-week online learning portal, consisting of numerous skill based activities and have held regular interactive Zoom workshops with coaches.
The latest activity that Academy players have been sinking their teeth into over the last few days are the newly created lockdown challenges.
Made up of 10 levels, consisting of seven challenges, each level gets progressively more difficult as the player is successful.
As you can see from the image above, a wide range of footballing techniques are tested, including basic ball work, dribbling and running with the ball.
And the good news is that you don’t have to be a part of the TNS Academy to take part either – the challenges are open to all local youngsters!
You can find the full list of lockdown challenges HERE, so why not test yourself and see if you can get further than some of our players.
