Park Hall Hosts Charity Football Game – Wrexham Inclusion FC v Woodland’s Children’s Home

On Saturday (February 2, 2019), Park Hall played host to a charity game between Wrexham Inclusion FC and Woodlands Children’s Home, also in Wrexham.

Organised by Wayne Greenshields of TNS FC’s Community Foundation, the evening went very well and you can listen to Wayne in the video below, following the game.

We covered the match on TNS Radio, but more from the aspect of community radio rather than our usual match day commentary when the first team play. We had plenty of guests on air and you can view the images HERE via the album on our Facebook page.

The game itself saw Wrexham Inclusion storm into a 3-0 lead within the opening 12 minutes but Woodlands hit back to level the scores by the break.

Wrexham got their noses back in front within three minutes of the second half commencing but it was 4-4 a quarter of an hour later. As the half continued though, the Inclusion squad pulled away, eventually winning 6-4 in a ten-goal thriller.

There were some very good goals and individual performances but the most important thing was that everyone enjoyed themselves. A good time was truly had by one and all.
