With 18 players featuring, including the keeper change, there was plenty of rotation from the Welsh Champions, although with several chances especially during the first half, they were unfortunate not to find the net.
However, the Perth-based Saints scored twice, with a close-range header from Steven MacLean on 27 minutes, followed by a well-taken free-kick doubling the lead just before the break.
It's half-time and St Johnstone lead 2-0.

Andy Wycherley managed to get a hand to Liam Craig’s effort from outside the box, but unfortunately for the young keeper he wasn’t able to keep it out.

With 13 minutes of the second-half gone, Graham Cummins put the game beyond TNS’ reach as St Johnstone took a 3-0 lead. Although both sides create different chances, that’s how the game finished.
It's all over as St Johnstone add a 58th minute goal to win 3-0.
