The New Saints Shoot For Net World Sports – Guest Blog

At The New Saints we always like to get involved and work with our local community, whether it is our Community Foundation hosting holiday clubs at a range of locations across North Shropshire or players going out to speak at youth clubs across the region, so it only made sense to get our equipment from Net World Sports, the UK’s leading football equipment supplier just a stone’s throw away from us!

With a great working relationship with the entire Net World Sports team, here’s an insight from their Specialist Sales and Development Lead, Robbie Hayter, on what they do and how they work with us…

Net World Sports’ journey to the big leagues began not too far away from The Venue, in Kinnerley, when our founder Alex Lovén spent all of his hard-earned savings from his time at a builder’s merchants on an entire container of sports nets, doing away with the traditional need for samples. The risk paid off though and 10 years later, we now offer over 5,000 different products to customers in more than 100 countries across the globe, all from our single site space on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

We first reached out to TNS to request the use of their pitch for a big photoshoot we had coming up last year as part of our 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign #FindYourFORZA, highlighting our all-encompassing FORZA football range. Thinking of all the ways we could work together, Chief Operating Officer, Ian Williams, invited us in for a meeting and well, the rest, they say, is history…

Since then, our Visual Content team has been to Park Hall countless times for product and marketing photoshoots. Our revolutionary FORZA Alu110 360˚ Football Goal Wheels made their debut appearance on The New Saints’ soil and we also shot our new range of RapidFire Rebounders on the ground too.

Ian and Jacob Williams have been hugely supportive of us using their facilities and in return we give them competitive pricing on all of our products, from our FORZA Alu110 Freestanding Football Goals and FORZA Flash Pop Up Goals through to coaching boards, training cones and general training equipment. With Ian regularly attending FAW and UEFA meetings, he’s been great in helping promote our products to clubs and league associations, even securing us an order from MMP Mid Wales League for 100 of our FORZA footballs.

We’ve built up a fantastic working relationship with TNS and long may it continue!
