Following a successful loan spell at fellow JD Cymru Premier side, Caernarfon Town, Ben Clark has returned to Park Hall and is available for selection in Scott Ruscoe’s matchday squad.
After joining the Canaries in the middle of November, the TNS youngster appeared in all but one of his loan side’s fixtures, making a total of 14 appearances for the club.
Clark’s impressive performances in the green and yellow shirt earned him numerous plaudits throughout the spell, and he collected a number of Man of the Match awards during his time at The Oval, including the Sgorio honour in a live TV game against Cardiff Metropolitan University.
We caught up with Ben earlier today, and he reflected fondly on his time away from Park Hall, saying: “Thank you to all the Caernarfon Town players and staff for making my time there very memorable and beneficial for my footballing career.
“I feel as though they have helped me progress into a better player and playing week in week out has allowed me to improve my versatility as a player, playing in numerous positions.
“I’d also like to thank all the Caernarfon fans for supporting me throughout my journey at the club. I wish them all the best for the future and hope they progress into Europa League qualifiers for next season.”
The New Saints’ next JD Cymru Premier fixture is against Caernarfon Town tomorrow (Friday March 13) which means, if selected, it could be an immediate return to the North Wales coast for the number 19.
