We began the 2020/21 JD Cymru Premier season on September 12 last year, with a 3-0 victory at Jenner Park against Barry Town United.

This Saturday (May 15), we wrap up the campaign as we host Bala Town. The game is a second versus third affair, and although there’s nothing at stake for the visitors as far as positions are concerned, it’s a crucial one for The New Saints.

Trailing Connah’s Quay Nomads by two points, although the title is out of our hands, nevertheless we go into the encounter with hopes still alive.

In order for the trophy to return to Park Hall though, Connah’s Quay must fail to win at Penybont and we have to beat Bala Town.

Although they are just statistics, Nomads have never scored at the SDM Glass Stadium – albeit in just two visits – while the Lakesiders are winless in eighteen games on TNS territory.

The New Saints will be wearing the familiar green and white hooped shirts and white shorts and socks. The ‘keepers will be in all blue.

The visitors will be in all red, while the goalkeepers will be wearing all grey.

The officials are as follows: Iwan Griffith (referee), Ian Bird (assistant), Harry Hendricks (assistant) and John Jones (fourth official). The referee observer is Kevin Parry.
