The New Saints FC are delighted to confirm the signings of defenders Kade Craig and Harvey Godsmark-Ford, adding further strength and depth to the squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Craig, 22, joins the Saints following a two-year stint with Solihull Moors, with who he reached the Vanarama National League play-off final, while he holds previously English Football League experience having represented Shrewsbury Town.

Godsmark-Ford, 21, arrives at Park Hall Leicester City, having gained valuable experience with the English Championship side’s Academy system.

The defender also gained senior experience during his time at the King Power Stadium, making 11 appearances in the EFL Trophy.

Head Coach Craig Harrison welcomed the double signing, saying: “Kade and Harvey are both good, young players who will help us build for the future. Not only are they playing at a high standard currently, but there’s still plenty of room for them to improve as well.

“Kade has got good experience having played in the football league, and he can slot in right across the back four.

“Harvey was at Leicester for a long time progressing right through the age groups, captaining the U23s and getting lots of games in the EFL Cup.

“They’re both really versatile and arrive with good pedigrees, so we’re looking forward to them linking up with the squad.

“I think they’ll both play a big part in the club moving forward.”
